Like most citrus oils, orange oil has a positive influence on mood and induces sleep. Children particularly enjoy its scent. The diffusion of pure orange oil purifies and refreshes the air. Sweet aromas stimulate the appetite.

Composition: Citrus sinensis.

How to Use:

- Oral intake: Take 1 to 2 drops, 2 times a day. Dilute in a teaspoon of honey or a cup of tea;

- Topic application (massage, bath): Dilute 2 to 5 drops in 10 ml of vegetable oil;

- Diffusion: Use 5 to 10 drops, according to your preference or, depending on the size of the room;

- Calm sleep drink: Orange EO - 2 drops, Scots pine EO - 2 drops, Cinnamon EO - 2 drops. Dilute in a teaspoon of honey and dissolve in a cup of warm milk or an herbal infusion. Take at night before bedtime;

Precautions: When using an essential oil for the first time, it is advisable to perform a skin patch test to check for allergic reactions: mix a drop of the oil to be used with a teaspoon of sweet almond oil and rub it on the inside of the elbow. If the skin reddens within 24 hours, it means you are sensitive to the product and should not use it. Never use essential oil in its pure form. To avoid skin irritation, they should always be mixed with an oily base, such as sweet almond oil. Use a small amount of any oil in any type of treatment. If you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, do not use oils without the advice of a qualified aromatherapist.
