Lemon oil is stimulating and improves concentration. The vapours of lemon oil purify the air and keep the mind alert.
Composition: Citrus x limon.
How to Use:
- Oral intake: Take 1 to 2 drops, 2 times a day. Dilute in a teaspoon of honey or a cup of tea;
- Topical use (massage, bath): Dilute 5 to 10 drops in 10 ml of vegetable oil;
- Diffusion: Use 5 to 10 drops, according to your preference or, depending on the size of the room.
Precautions: When using an essential oil for the first time, it is advisable to do a test to check if its use causes an allergic reaction: mix a drop of the oil you will use in a teaspoon of sweet almond oil and rub it on the inside of your elbow. If the skin reddens in 24 hours, it means you are sensitive to the product and should not use it. Never use essential oil in its pure form. To avoid irritating the skin, they should always be mixed with an oily base, such as sweet almond oil. Use a small amount of any oil in any type of treatment. If you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, do not use the oils without the advice of a qualified aromatherapist.
